Newtown Musical Theatre Company (or NMTC) is a community theatre group in the heart of mid-Wales, founded in 1983. A proud member of NODA, we are dedicated to entertaining mid-Wales through song and dance.

Rock star wannabe Robbie Hart is New Jersey’s most in-demand wedding singer, but his own wedding turns out to be a disaster, when his fiancé leaves him at the altar. Robbie’s heartbreak suddenly makes him ruin every wedding he plays until he connects with Julia, a pretty waitress who dreams of her own perfect wedding.
There’s just one problem: she’s unhappily engaged. And when Julia elopes to Las Vegas,
Robbie decides to play the gig of his life to win her heart and get the happily ever after they both deserve.
